Ventura Cryo Whole Body Cryotherapy

Cryotherapy comes to Ventura County!

Cryotherapy: the answer you didn’t even know you were asking for. Used by A-list celebrities and athletes worldwide, cryotherapy has been a global phenomenon on the rise! Imagine the human body exposed to -125 to -200 degree nitrogen gas in a controlled environment? You don’t have to travel to Los Angeles to get the celebrity treatment. Experience whole body cryotherapy here, in Ventura County, at Ventura Cryo.

Freezing your body temperature to that level may seem crazy for some, but there is purpose behind this madness. Whole body Cryotherapy offers multiple health benefits such as:

  • Reduction of Muscle Soreness
  • Speeds up Recovery
  • Reduces Chronic Pain and Inflammation
  • Improves Joint Function
  • Boosts Immune System
  • Endorphine
  • Weight loss
  • Anti-aging

That is only a few of the many benefits of Cryotherapy. Cryotherapy is a non-invasive, pain free cold treatment that is made to stimulate the bodies natural healing mechanisms. Located near the Pacific View Mall on Telegraph Rd Suite 1, this is the place to be if you are an athlete, suffer from chronic pain, or are interested in the next best thing.

Ventura Cryo is inside the Sauna Studio Spa which also offers unique services such as infrared sauna sessions, salt room therapy, and much more. Making this the ultimate place to go to because you can bounce around and enjoy a variety of services.

The staff is incredibly friendly and Alfredo, the owner, is well educated and passionate about the process of whole body Cryotherapy and the benefits.

First, you’ll be directed into a changing room which will have your necessary items such as: a rob, long socks, gloves, and protective shoes. Any jewelry and metal below the neck has to be removed because the cold air and metal could lead to injury. It is recommended for those who wear bras to opt for a non-wire or sports bra on the day of your Cryotherapy. Ultimately, all clothes should be removed except for undergarments.

After changing into your robe, you’ll be directed to the Cryotherapy machine. Once you step in the Cryo machine with your socks, you’ll remove your robe and the floor will raise so that only your head is exposed. Your body will remain covered by the machine and cold air therapy will soon begin. Cryotherapy is not painful, but you will feel a cold sensation. It is recommended that you rotate while having the nitrogen hit your body so it distributes evenly. When the session finishes, you’ll be passed back your robe, and the ground will lower as you exit the machine.

Prices vary based on the amount of sessions. It’s recommended to have eight to twelve sessions, and memberships are available as well.

Overall, Cryotherapy is such a great and unique health experience. After your session, you’ll feel refreshed and rejuvenated. The staff’s hospitality and professionalism will make you feel so comfortable and informed about Cryotherapy – you’ll leave the studio ready to take on any activity (like foot golf at River Ridge.)

Unfortunately, Cryotherapy is not for everyone. If you are pregnant or have hypertension you may not be a candidate for Cryotherapy. It is always best to confirm with your doctor that it is okay for you to participate in Cryotherapy.
