Flat Fish Brewery is Camarillo’s newest brewery!
Flat Fish Brewery is located in a small industrial area off the 101 Freeway in conjunction with Cantara Wine Cellars. Yes! You read that right, a WINERY and BREWERY all in one destination.
This is not your typical brewery that you see popping up all over Ventura County. This is a small shop following some pretty strict beer regulations. For starters, you have to order at the door. Once you order, your beer will be brought to a table on the side, where you must pick up your brews. Then, you must consume your beverages in the lounge.
The beers are incredible though! This small shop has 7 tasty beers on tap. Offered in either tasters, pints, or growlers, you’ll find:
- British Brown
- American Amber
- American Brown Ale
- American Porter
- Pale Ale
- India Pale Ale
This is a great spot for a couple of friends to get together and catch up. Flat Fish has a few board games and playing cards but the venue is rather small to host a large group. Though this may not be the ideal place to take your children, kids are welcome to join. However, Flat Fish Brewery strictly enforces the drinking age, and will card any persons purchasing alcohol.
Overall, this is a unique experience to Ventura County, where wine lovers and beer enthusiasts can finally come together as one.
