Foot Golf at River Ridge
Foot golf is an unknown outdoor activity in Ventura County. Foot golf is an outdoor sport, in which players kick a soccer ball into a cup in as few shots as possible. The name is a mixture of soccer and golf, and the game combines the two sports, being more closely related to golf. This is a perfect activity to bring your kids, your family, or your significant other – especially this Summer!
Start by entering the golf shop and purchasing tickets for your crew. For adults to participate, it’s $7* per player for 9 holes or $12* for 18 holes. If you’re just coming along to watch – spectators pay a $1* ‘Spectator Fee.’* Any children under the age of 17 are $5*. Each player needs their own soccer ball and equipment can be rented at the golf shop, or you can bring your own. To rent a soccer ball it’s $5 per ball*. Golf carts can only fit 2 people and cost $8* per person. So if you’re bringing a team of 5 you’ll spend $40 (for the cart) and get 3 golf carts.
After purchasing all necessary equipment and tickets, grab the keys to your golf cart and head up the hill to the front desk. You’ll be greeted by a staff member who will direct you to your course, and provide you with a map (if need be.) From there, take turns trying to kick the soccer ball in the various holes at each hill. You can play up to 18 holes, for hours of fun!
New playing hours: Weekdays after 12:00 pm (unless there is a tournament booked), weekends after 1:00pm. If weather is inclement, please call in.
